District Awards
The district that best demonstrates outstanding leadership, under the direction of the Director and Assistant/Co-Director will be honored with an award.

Legislation awards will be judged upon their relevancy to BPW/USA’s mission and vision, as well as the program’s impact, planning implementation process, membership involvement, use of available media resources, and overall quality of the project. It can be a yearlong project, a series of projects, or a single event. The entry must meet the objectives stated in the Local Organization Plan of Action.

Encourage members of locals to get involved in the Equal Rights Amendment passage by joining the Louisiana ERA Coalition. An award will be give to each local that has at least one participant active in the coalition.

National Business Women’s Week (NBWW) will take place October 20-26, 2008. Since its creation in 1928, the event has been sponsored by Business and Professional Women (BPW/USA) for the purpose of recognizing and honoring the achievements of working women throughout history.
